The Iris Gardens in Montclair were beautiful when in full bloom.  I case you’ve never been there, you should see this place at least once.  May is the best time to go. I’ve attached a couple of pictures I took last year.  There are over 500 varieties and about 75,000 Irises in bloom.

THE TALL BEARDED IRISES ARE IN BLOOM! Due to unseasonably warm weather in late April and early May, the tall bearded irises began blooming ahead of schedule and are AT THEIR PEAK.. The May 22-23 weekend was a great time to see our wonderful display, although irises will continue to be on display Memorial Day Weekend and possibly into early June.
